Clean Slate

It seems kind of strange right now to not be preparing for a week involving football on a local level. With the turning of the calendar into not only a new year but a new decade (what do we call it by the way? We never really named the last one), winter sports are finally here, BCS Championships and NFL Playoffs notwithstanding.

That means we'll be spending more time indoors, dedicating ourselves to basketball, hockey and wrestling at least a couple of times a week. There isn't a lot of intrigue going on right now in those sports, at least not to hardcore fans, but it will certainly develop over the next few weeks. Now is the perfect time to start keeping an eye on your favorite team or athlete. There's a very good chance you'll be reading about them here for the next few months.
